ROSH HASHANAH EVENTS AT A GLANCE
Rosh Hashanah, the day when we commemorate G-d finishing the creating of the world, and specifically the day He created man. We celebrate the purpose of G-d creating the world and connect to what we have to accomplish in this world as His creations.
The main Mitzvah of the two day festival is hearing the blow of the Shofar (rams horn). Rosh Hashanah feasts traditionally include round challah bread (studded with raisins) and apples dipped in honey, as well as other foods that symbolize our wishes for a sweet year.
